Ashlea & Nik | INTIMATE WEDDING AT MOUNTAIN VIEW GARDENS & BALLROOM

Ashlea & Nik met while planning a mission trip to Africa. They were both placed on the same coordinating team and instantly connected! Their wedding was an incredible day filled with a lot of happy tears. Ashlea & Nik exchanged vows with an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family.

Ashlea & Nik’s wedding had so many personal touches throughout the entire day. The florals were done by Ashlea’s childhood best friend/bridesmaid, Payton. Ashlea wore her mother’s jewelry and shared the sweetest first look with her dad & brother. Nik and Ashlea exchanged hand written letters and Ashlea gifted Nik a journal of prayers she had written in for several years. The look on Nik’s face when he first saw Ashlea would have made anyone cry!

Thankfully the rain held off through the day, but it was beautiful to watch in the distance on top the mountain. The ceremony was very emotional in laughs and tears. Ashlea and Nik had their church pastor and worship leader to officiate the wedding and their very first communion together. I think one my favorite moments of the day was immediately after the communion. Pastor Rodney was reciting the final few sentences before THE kiss, and Nik grabbed Ashlea’s face before the Pastor was even done speaking. Everyone exploded in laughter.

Ashlea & Nik chose to have a cozy reception with good food, a firepit, and s’mores! However, the rain began to pour outside and adjustments had to be made. It did not stop the incredibly loving atmosphere! To wrap up the evening, Ashlea’s parents led a prayer over the bride & groom before they sent them off with rose petals.
